Role Description
The Parts Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Slough. This role involves assisting customers and trade clients in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, both at the counter and over the phone. The Parts Advisor will handle inquiries, provide product and compatibility information, process orders, and manage returns where required.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Organizing stock
- Updating systems
- Coordinating with colleagues and dealers to ensure timely supply
The role also requires delivering a high standard of customer service, resolving issues promptly, and supporting workshop and sales activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build positive, professional relationships.
- Effective Communication skills for working with customers, dealers, and colleagues in a busy retail and trade environment.
- Experience with Inventory Control and basic stock management processes, including ordering, receiving, and recording parts.
- Understanding of Dealer Management or similar systems used to manage parts, orders, and customer information.
- Basic automotive parts knowledge and a willingness to develop technical product expertise.
- Ability to work on-site in Slough, manage time well, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort with using computers and point-of-sale systems; prior experience in parts or retail environments is beneficial.
- No specific educational requirement; experience in automotive, retail, or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
