Parts Advisor

Salary: £33,990
Location: Coalville
Working Arrangement: On-site
Contract: Full-time, permanent, 45 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 5:00pm

Overview

Our client is an established UK vehicle leasing and mobility services organisation seeking a Parts Advisor to join its vehicle refurbishment operation.

Reporting to the Fleet Operations Manager, the role will ensure that parts required for vehicles being considered for refurbishment are identified, priced, authorised and ordered promptly. The successful candidate will maintain accurate system records, coordinate parts and consumables, and work closely with workshop and bodyshop colleagues to support efficient vehicle preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Review vehicles being considered for refurbishment and identify the parts required.
  • Obtain accurate pricing and submit parts for authorisation within agreed timescales.
  • Order approved parts and monitor their progress through to arrival.
  • Update relevant systems and documentation to reflect parts ordered, received and distributed.
  • Book out parts and consumables accurately.
  • Receive and distribute parts and consumables to the bodyshop team.
  • Work closely with the Workshop Control team and other operational colleagues.
  • Monitor parts availability and resolve issues affecting supply.
  • Support the achievement of operational key performance indicators.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure parts-related activity is completed efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support the smooth running of vehicle refurbishment operations.
