We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a dedicated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our dynamic team at our Newton Abbot site.

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.00 pm, Saturday mornings required on a rota basis, paid at time & a half, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch (unpaid).

Salary: £14.61 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide excellent customer service, (must be customer focused).
  • Identify parts for front counter sales via phone, emails, webshop orders, and walk ins, and process orders.
  • Purchase parts at best price.
  • Receipting parts.
  • Parts Cross referencing.
  • Processing credits.
  • Checking off stock and accurately put away in correct bin locations when required.
  • Pick Orders when required.
  • Serving technicians on the back counter for our internal workshop.

Ideally, we are looking for:

  • Excellent customer service and strong administration skills.
  • A friendly, can-do attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Some working knowledge of the motor vehicle sector or automotive trade.
  • Experience working to performance targets.
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Autoline, Kerridge or Keyloop would be an advantage.
