Parts Advisor

Northampton | £30,000 + Bonus | Permanent

Are you an experienced Parts Advisor who knows your way around vehicle parts and enjoys dealing with customers?

Want to join a growing independent automotive business where you can make a real impact?

This could be the opportunity for you.

Following a record-breaking year and continued growth, an established automotive parts business is expanding its team and looking for a confident, proactive Parts Advisor to join its Northampton operation.

You'll be dealing with a loyal customer base across the UK, helping customers identify the right parts, processing orders and building relationships that keep them coming back.


What you'll be doing

  • Handling incoming calls, emails and customer enquiries
  • Advising customers on the right parts and products
  • Processing orders accurately and efficiently
  • Building strong relationships with existing customers
  • Re-engaging lapsed customers and identifying opportunities
  • Coordinating orders, deliveries and fulfilment
  • Supporting occasional trade counter activity
  • Working with customers across a national network

What we're looking for

We're open to people from different backgrounds, but you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor, automotive sales or customer service role
  • Good knowledge of vehicle parts
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Experience within the truck and trailer sector would be highly advantageous, but isn't essential for the right candidate.
