Parts Advisor – Loughborough

Know Your Parts? We Want You!

Salary: from £14.50 per hour – overtime @ time and a half
Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 0800hrs to 1630hrs
  • Friday: 0800hrs to 1530hrs

About Us

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our busy team at our Volvo Truck and Bus Centre in Loughborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in commercial vehicle, automotive, or truck parts who enjoys delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience as a Parts Advisor or Parts Assistant (automotive, truck, or bus industry preferred)
  • Hold full driving licence
  • Confident communicator with great organisational and IT skills
  • A proactive team player who takes pride in delivering quality service
  • Knowledge of Volvo systems or commercial vehicle parts is an advantage

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supply parts and components promptly to workshop technicians.
  • Identify and source correct parts using electronic catalogues and manufacturer systems.
  • Assist with urgent workshop requirements to minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming deliveries.
  • Serve retail and trade customers professionally and efficiently.
  • Provide product advice and technical parts information.
  • Handle incoming customer calls regarding parts availability, pricing, and orders.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and support stock control activities.
  • Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.
