Vauxhall Chesterfield
At Vauxhall Chesterfield, we have an opportunity for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the team. We are offering a basic salary up to £30,000 depending on experience plus company benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm, with no weekend working.
This is a varied Parts role, with approximately 80% of your time focused on supporting the workshop and ensuring our Technicians have the correct parts available when they need them. The remaining 20% will involve assisting customers at the front counter, dealing with parts enquiries and providing a professional, helpful service.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Accurately identifying and supplying parts
- Processing workshop and customer requests
- Maintaining stock availability and ensuring parts are ordered efficiently
- Working closely with the Service and Technician teams to help keep jobs progressing and minimise delays within the workshop

You’ll also make sure you stay up to date with new and updated parts information through relevant training, manufacturer bulletins, catalogues, product updates, special offers and recalls.
Ideally, you’ll have previous Parts experience within the automotive industry, whether that’s from a main dealership, motor factor or other automotive parts environment. You’ll be confident identifying and supplying the correct parts, using parts catalogues and systems, and working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be organised, accurate and customer focused, with the ability to build strong working relationships with both the workshop team and customers at the front counter.
