Parts Advisor – Northampton

Salary: £29,741

Hours: 45 per week (full time)

Reporting to: Aftersales Manager


Ready to put your parts knowledge into action?

Allen Motor Group is looking for a friendly, organised and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our Ford, OMODA and Jaecoo dealership in Northampton.

As a key member of our Aftersales team, you’ll play an important role in making sure the right parts are available at the right time. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Service teams, manufacturers and customers, helping everything run smoothly and ensuring our customers receive the service they deserve.

If you enjoy working with people, have a good eye for detail and know your way around an automotive Parts department, we’d love to hear from you!

What will you be doing?

You’ll be at the heart of our Parts operation, helping to keep the department organised, efficient and customer-focused.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include

  • Managing and maintaining the Parts stock room, ensuring stock levels are accurate and well controlled.
  • Working closely with our Sales and Service teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for parts-related queries from customers, colleagues and manufacturers.
  • Coordinating the supply of parts across the site and making sure requirements are dealt with efficiently.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues and providing a consistently high level of service.

Are you the person we're looking for?

  • A people-focused team player who enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Confident with telephone communication and comfortable speaking with customers and colleagues.
  • Experienced in a customer-facing environment.
  • Comfortable using IT systems and able to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Passionate about delivering a great customer experience.
