We are looking to recruit a Parts Advisor to join our busy, Upper Boat-based team. This position will offer the right candidate the chance to work for a multi-franchise dealership and develop their skills in a dynamic Parts department.

Duties Will Include The Following

  • Manual handling of stock, including stock control and daily stock checking
  • Use of specialist computer systems
  • Logistics – ensuring timely parts arrivals and deliveries
  • Interaction with Trade and Retail customers daily
  • Working closely with the Vehicle Sales/Service departments
  • General housekeeping as required

You will work with both customers and workshop staff over the phone and in the dealership, using computerized stock management systems and parts identification programs. You will be responsible for invoicing and orders while developing an all-around knowledge of motor vehicles.

This position is ideal for someone interested in sales and working with computers, as a Parts role heavily focuses on generating new business within a dealership. It is important that you remain consistently focused on the brands and their values by exceeding customer expectations and delivering an unparalleled level of service and quality.

Qualifications Required

  • Good IT Skills and knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office
  • GCSE A*-C Maths, English & ICT or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is essential
