Part-Time Parts Delivery Driver

North Oxford Garage | 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

North Oxford Garage is looking for a reliable and professional Part-Time Parts Delivery Driver to join our team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for delivering automotive parts safely and efficiently to our customers, while providing a friendly and professional service.

Working Hours

  • Two days per week
  • Eight hours per day
  • Working days to be agreed

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver automotive parts to customers accurately and on time
  • Load and unload parts safely
  • Check deliveries against the relevant paperwork
  • Plan efficient delivery routes
  • Obtain proof of delivery where required
  • Maintain high standards of customer service
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy
  • Report vehicle defects, delivery issues or discrepancies promptly
  • Assist the Parts Department with general duties when required
  • Follow all company procedures and health and safety requirements

About You

You will:

  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
  • Have a safe and responsible approach to driving
  • Be punctual, dependable and well organised
  • Have good communication and customer service skills
  • Be comfortable handling and lifting automotive parts
  • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Ideally have previous delivery-driving or automotive experience, although this is not essential
