Parts Inventory Planner

Location: Crawley – Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Contract: 12 months – potential to run until June 2027

Salary: Up to £32,000

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Parts Inventory Planner to join a global organisation on an initial 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for managing parts inventory and availability, ensuring optimum stock levels are maintained while minimising shortages, excess inventory and disruption to operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement inventory planning strategies to optimise stock levels and ensure parts availability.
  • Analyse demand, consumption patterns and inventory levels to identify potential shortages or excess stock.
  • Work closely with Service, Technical Support, Sales and other internal teams to understand requirements and accurately forecast demand.
  • Review and maintain inventory parameters including safety stock, order quantities and lead times.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts and monitor supplier performance.
  • Identify supply or inventory risks and take appropriate action to minimise operational impact.
  • Produce regular inventory reports, dashboards and analysis, highlighting key metrics, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Use data to support inventory optimisation, planning decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and planning records across relevant systems.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and international teams.
  • Support wider logistics, order processing and import/export activities where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
