Vertu Motors is proud to represent Jaguar Land Rover, two iconic British brands renowned for luxury, performance, innovation, and exceptional customer experiences.
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for an experienced Parts Manager to join our successful team at Vertu Land Rover Bolton.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead one of the largest parts operations within both the Jaguar Land Rover network and the Vertu Motors Group. Joining a high-performing dealership with a highly experienced and stable team, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing your people, and delivering continued commercial success in a well-established business with ambitious growth plans.
Salary And Benefits
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. Due to the nature of the role, flexibility is required to support operational requirements, with occasional Saturday working as needed.

About The Role
As Parts Manager, you will take full responsibility for the department's performance, ensuring the highest standards of customer service, stock management, profitability, and team engagement.

You'll lead a team of approximately 23 colleagues, including Parts Advisors, Drivers, Goods In staff, an Assistant Parts Manager, and Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leading and developing a large parts department to achieve operational and commercial objectives
- Managing stock control, inventory accuracy, and parts availability
- Driving departmental efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing colleagues to reach their full potential
- Ensuring all processes and procedures are followed consistently and effectively
- Building strong working relationships across the dealership and manufacturer network
- Delivering an exceptional experience for both internal and external customers
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Previous experience as a Parts Manager within the automotive industry (essential)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A commercially focused approach with the ability to drive departmental performance
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience managing stock, budgets, and operational processes
- A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
