Description
Salary: £44,880 - £56,000 OTE
Hours: 45 hours per week. Monday–Friday: 0800–1800 with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

We are looking for an experienced Parts Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead our Parts Departments across Gatwick and Redhill. This is an exciting dual-site opportunity for someone who combines strong people leadership with commercial awareness and a passion for delivering the high standards our customers expect from Vines Group and BMW.
You’ll take responsibility for the performance of both Parts Departments, ensuring they are well organised, commercially successful and consistently delivering an outstanding service.
Your Role
As our Parts Manager, you will play a key role in leading our teams and driving the performance of both locations. You will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Leading, motivating, coaching and developing colleagues across both Parts Departments, creating a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Dual-Site Management: Maintaining a visible presence across Gatwick and Redhill, managing your time effectively according to operational priorities and the needs of each team.
- Commercial Performance: Taking responsibility for Parts P&L performance, working towards agreed turnover, profit and budget objectives and identifying opportunities to maximise profitability.
- Stock Management: Ensuring effective stock planning and control, maintaining appropriate stock levels and reducing obsolete or excess stock across both locations.
- Customer Experience: Ensuring customers consistently receive a high-quality experience in line with Vines Group and BMW standards.
- Business Development: Developing existing trade parts accounts, building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities to generate new business.
- Operational Excellence: Ensuring departmental processes, administration, lead management and reporting are accurate, efficient and compliant with company procedures.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and working practices across both Parts Departments.
- Compliance & Standards: Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and compliance with relevant legislation, company policies and industry requirements.

What We're Looking For
- Experience: Relevant experience within the retail motor industry, with strong knowledge of Parts and Accessories. Previous Parts or Aftersales management experience would be an advantage.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop teams, ideally within a multi-site or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Commercial Awareness: A strong understanding of departmental performance, profitability and the importance of achieving commercial objectives.
- Organisation: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to balance priorities across two locations.
- Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service and handling challenging situations professionally.
- Communication: Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching and negotiation skills.
- Approach: Self-motivated, positive, adaptable and solutions-focused, with the confidence to work with appropriate autonomy.
- Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence and the ability to travel regularly between Gatwick and Redhill.
- Qualifications: Relevant professional qualifications or membership of the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) would be advantageous but are not essential.
