We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused parts sales advisor to join a busy automotive parts operation in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced parts sales advisor, or mechanic who is looking to step away from the tools.

The Role

As a parts sales advisor, you will be responsible for identifying and supplying the correct vehicle parts, maximising sales opportunities, and providing exceptional support to both trade and retail customers. You will work closely with colleagues to achieve sales objectives while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. This role will mainly be focused on 'warm' sales, however occasional outreach to potential new customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately identify and supply vehicle parts that meet customer requirements.
  • Maximise sales by promoting products, special offers, and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge through training, technical bulletins, catalogues, and product updates.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication.
  • Progress customer orders efficiently while providing expert advice and support.
  • Handle customer enquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in line with data protection requirements.
  • Process customer orders, payments, and documentation accurately using internal systems.
  • Source additional parts from external suppliers or partner locations when necessary.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
