Position Overview:

DiPerk is the UK and Ireland’s only authorised Perkins distributor, specializing in the supply, service, and support of Perkins engines across all industries and applications. Our expertise in diesel engines and commitment to customer satisfaction make us a trusted partner for businesses requiring reliable and efficient power solutions. We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Part Sales Coordinator to join our Parts Sales team.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Parts Sales Team Leader, this role provides essential administrative and operational support across the sale, supply, and aftersales care of engine parts. You will be responsible for coordinating claims and returns, managing stock and invoicing processes, maintaining data accuracy within business systems, and supporting the wider team through reporting and analysis. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Parts Sales Team.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics and communicate with customers, colleagues, and vendors regarding claims, returns, and aftersales service requirements.
  • Assist with inventory and invoicing processes, including goods receipting, invoice conversion, credit control, and maintaining accurate stock records.
  • Respond to customer queries relating to invoices, account status, and outstanding orders.
  • Maintain and tidy ERP systems, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Complete ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and administrative tasks as requested by the Parts Sales Team Leader or Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or customer support role is advantageous.
  • Experience working within a technical, parts, or supply chain environment would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office for monitoring processes and tracking information.
  • Experience with inventory or business management systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and an appreciation of the sales process (desirable).
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.
  • Strong PC literacy with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
