Company Description

Commercial Components Midlands Ltd is a specialist supplier of commercial vehicle components for trucks, buses, coaches, plant equipment, and light commercial vehicles from 3.5 tons and above. The company provides parts for all major makes and models, supporting a wide range of operators and service workshops. With a focus on reliability and product range, Commercial Components Midlands Ltd aims to keep commercial vehicles operating safely and efficiently. Team members work closely with customers to identify the right parts quickly, helping minimize downtime and support smooth fleet operations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Parts Sales Specialist role based in Tamworth. The Parts Sales Specialist will support customers by identifying and supplying the correct commercial vehicle components, handling telephone, email, and in-person inquiries. Daily tasks include:

The role involves maintaining up-to-date product knowledge, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with returns or warranty queries. The Parts Sales Specialist will also contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through clear communication, professional service, and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building positive, long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong Communication abilities, including clear verbal and written communication and effective listening.
  • Sales skills, including identifying customer needs, recommending suitable parts, and closing orders in a professional manner.
  • Inventory Control skills, such as tracking stock levels, identifying shortages, and assisting in maintaining accurate records.
  • Previous experience in parts sales, automotive or commercial vehicle components is highly beneficial.
  • Comfort using computer systems for order entry, stock checking, and basic reporting.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer requests.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Tamworth and collaborate within a team-focused environment.
