Job Description Summary
DiPerk is the UK and Ireland’s only authorised Perkins distributor, specializing in the supply, service, and support of Perkins engines across all industries and applications. Our expertise in diesel engines and commitment to customer satisfaction make us a trusted partner for businesses requiring reliable and efficient power solutions. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Specialist to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting parts sales opportunities while providing expert technical support to customers. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, you will use your product knowledge, commercial awareness, and relationship-building skills to help customers maximize the performance and reliability of their Perkins-powered equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and convert Perkins parts sales opportunities through proactive customer engagement and outstanding service.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring service commitments are met in line with the DiPerk Customer Promise.
- Provide expert technical advice on Perkins engines and parts, helping customers identify the right products for their requirements.
- Gather, interpret, and analyse technical information to identify customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.
- Produce and follow up quotations, managing opportunities through to successful completion.
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including Customer Service Administration and Parts Interpretation, to ensure seamless customer support.
- Monitor order progress and delivery performance, keeping customers informed and ensuring expectations are consistently met.
- Support CRM activities by maintaining accurate customer records, sales data, and opportunity pipelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer experience, and increase sales performance.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge, positioning yourself and DiPerk as a trusted source of expertise within the Perkins market.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of diesel engines and associated engine parts.
- Previous experience in parts sales, technical sales, customer service, or a similar commercial environment.
- Strong customer focus with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently.
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities, negotiate effectively, and successfully close business.
- Confident using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer and sales records.
- Results-driven, resilient, and motivated to achieve and exceed performance objectives.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established processes and procedures.
