An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parts Supervisor to join the Parts department at our Lloyd BMW/MINI site in Cockermouth
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 hours per week working every 3rd Saturday.
As a Parts Supervisor Your Main Duties Will Include
- To serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the Parts Department lead times and policies are met.
- To receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock, ensuring VOR and Stock Orders are submitted in timely fashion to achieve targeted splits and purchasing demands.
- Ensuring best practice housekeeping standards are kept for parts warehousing and Showroom display areas.
- To participate in the annual formal stock check and ensure perpetual (daily) stock checking are meticulously observed.
- Support internal departments to promote parts and accessories growth and target achievement
- Tyre ordering and supplier Imprest tyre stock is reviewed and maintained.
- Non-collected/cancelled parts and tyres are returned daily
- Build on strong Trade & Bodyshop relationships driving regular Trade Marketing promotions
- Provide guidance and supervision of Parts Advisors and Van Driver
- Work with and enhance internal processes to provide accurate timely information (Vehicle Health Checks, Delivery Schedules, Back Order Notifications etc.) is communicated to the relevant personnel.
- Maintain and add to online (eBay) sales platform
- Attend manufacturers training and gain certification to BMW Group requirements for Parts Advisors

The ideal Parts Supervisor will have the following skills and experiences:
- Experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor industry.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
- Self-motivated
- IT Literate
- Good head for numbers / remembering codes
