PartsPlus is a professional supplier of quality automotive parts for all types of vehicles at competitive prices. Each local PartsPlus Centre holds extensive stock of Omnicraft, OmnicraftPlus, oil, consumables, Genuine Ford, and Motorcraft parts. These parts are supported by a reliable trade delivery service designed to meet the needs of professional automotive customers. PartsPlus also welcomes walk-in customers to its parts sales counters, providing knowledgeable support and quick access to required components.

Role Description

This full-time, on-site Parts Telesales Advisor role is based at the PartsPlus Centre in Nottingham. The role involves handling inbound and outbound calls to trade and retail customers, identifying their parts requirements, and providing accurate advice on suitable products. The Parts Telesales Advisor will process orders, check stock availability, create quotations, and coordinate with the warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely dispatch. Daily tasks also include updating customer records, following up on enquiries, supporting the parts sales counter when needed, and maintaining a high standard of customer service in line with company policies.

  • Experience in telephone-based customer service and sales, ideally within the automotive or parts sector.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts and components, or a strong willingness to learn product ranges such as Omnicraft, Genuine Ford, and Motorcraft.
  • Competence in order processing, data entry, and using computer systems or parts catalogues accurately.
  • Strong communication, questioning, and listening skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, helpful advice.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries.
  • Collaborative approach to working with sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to meet customer needs efficiently.
  • Previous experience in retail, trade counter, or telesales environments is advantageous.
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling quotations, pricing, and invoices; a valid driving license is beneficial but not essential.
