Role Description
The Pasta/Pizza Chef is a full-time, on-site role based at Bar Leo in Linlithgow. This role is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pasta dishes and pizzas to a consistent, high standard, following established recipes and portion guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include:

The chef maintains a clean and organised workstation, adheres to all food safety and hygiene standards, and assists with stock rotation, ingredient prep, and minimising waste. Collaboration with the wider kitchen team to support service, contribute menu ideas, and ensure smooth operations during busy periods is also expected.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Food Preparation and Cooking, with experience in pasta and pizza production.
- Knowledge of Hygiene standards, including food safety regulations and best practices in a professional kitchen.
- Understanding of Food & Beverage operations in a restaurant setting, including basic stock management.
- Ability to prepare and balance Sauces, particularly those used in Italian-style pasta and pizza dishes.
- Previous experience in a similar chef or cook role, ideally in Italian or casual dining restaurants.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple orders, and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a professional, respectful approach to colleagues and guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Relevant culinary training or qualifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
