Job Description
We are recruiting for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie - Pastry to join the culinary team at our luxury hotel. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone with previous experience in a four or five-star hotel or fine dining environment. You should be able to effectively work as part of a fast-paced team and have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will report directly to the Executive Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities of Pastry Chef de Partie:
- Set up and run the pastry section efficiently and independently.
- Assist the senior chef in the day-to-day pastry operations.
- Prepare and present high-quality desserts for à la carte, banqueting, and afternoon tea service.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all pastry offerings.
- Train and mentor junior pastry staff, sharing skills and supporting development.
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization on your section.
- Conduct ordering and stock rotation for your area of responsibility.
- Always uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in pastry and dessert preparation in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry techniques
- Creativity and attention to detail in presentation and flavour
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards
- Excellent time management and clean, organized work habits
- A collaborative attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to food safety, hygiene regulations, and allergen awareness
- A genuine passion for pastry and delighting guests through beautiful and innovative desserts
