Located in Knightsbridge on the edge of Hyde Park, Bvlgari Hotel London is an elegant retreat renowned for its contemporary design, refined service and exceptional culinary standards. Since opening in 2012, the hotel has set new benchmarks in luxury hospitality, combining Italian heritage with world-class food and beverage experiences.
We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen team and contribute to the creation of exceptional pastry products across the hotel’s dining outlets, including The Bvlgari Lounge, home to the brand’s signature Dolci offering — a refined collection of contemporary artisanal pastries and chocolate creations.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Pastry Head Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of pastries, breads, cakes, desserts and chocolate-based items in line with the hotel’s recipes, quality standards and service expectations.
- You will work with precision, efficiency and consistency, delivering high-quality results while maintaining strong cost control and careful use of ingredients.
- As Pastry Chef de Partie, you will take a leadership role within your section, supporting and guiding junior team members while contributing to a positive, professional and high-performing kitchen environment.
- You will also be responsible for ensuring correct food handling, storage, cleanliness and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and producing high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, baked goods and chocolate items to an exceptional standard
- Ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes and presentation guidelines
- Leading and supporting junior members of the pastry team
- Receiving, storing and accounting for deliveries and supplies
- Supporting stock control, cost management and waste reduction
- Maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Following all kitchen procedures, health and safety regulations and company policies
What We Are Looking For

- The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for pastry and a strong technical foundation, with excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene within a professional kitchen environment.
- You will have previous experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie within a five-star hotel, Michelin-starred or AA-rosette establishment. Relevant NVQ or professional qualifications are desirable, though technical skill, consistency and flexibility will be key to success.
- You will be immaculately presented, well organised and able to work efficiently under pressure. Good levels of written and spoken English are required, along with eligibility to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be an advantage.
