Pastry Chef de Partie | Shanghai Me, London

Shanghai Me is looking for a passionate Pastry Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team at one of London’s leading luxury Pan-Asian dining destinations.

Working alongside the Pastry Sous Chef and senior kitchen team, you’ll take responsibility for your section, delivering high-quality desserts and pastries while maintaining exceptional standards of consistency, presentation and food safety in a fast-paced, premium kitchen.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare and present high-quality pastries and desserts in line with Shanghai Me standards
  • Run your pastry section efficiently during service
  • Complete daily mise en place and ensure all preparations are ready for service
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, consistency and presentation
  • Follow all hygiene, food safety and kitchen procedures
  • Support junior chefs and contribute to a positive team culture
  • Assist with new dishes, seasonal menus and menu development when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a pastry section in a luxury restaurant, five-star hotel or premium hospitality environment
  • Strong pastry and dessert-making skills
  • A genuine passion for pastry, creativity and high-quality presentation
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-focused approach
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional food and maintaining the highest standards
