Job Opening at art’otel Battersea Power Station

We are recruiting for our art’otel in London Battersea! A premium lifestyle hotel situated in the heart of the iconic Battersea Power Station development and having three outlets, Meetings and Events spaces and In-room Dining.

JOIA celebrates dishes showcasing Henrique’s vibrant, unique, and fresh take on traditional dishes using the best of British and Iberian produce sourced locally.

At TOZI Pizzeria & Cicchetti Bar, we bring together incredible Italian produce, Venetian casual dining traditions and the theatre of European grand cafes with menus for every occasion of the day.

And, TOZI Counter is our Italian inspired deli.

As our Pastry Senior Chef De Partie, you will receive:

  • Salary: It is anticipated you will receive from £14.42 (minimum contracted rate) to £18.00 (rate inclusive of TRONC) per hour worked – inclusive of an independently administered TRONC allowance

Role Specification

This is a production-focused pastry kitchen, with no service responsibilities.

  • The role operates on day shifts only, typically 7:00am – 4:00pm, with occasional earlier starts (5:00am – 2:00pm)
  • No double shifts are required, supporting a good work–life balance
  • The pastry team produces for multiple outlets, including JOIA, TOZI Pizzeria & Cicchetti Bar, and TOZI Counter, as well as events and in-room amenities
  • All viennoiserie is made in-house for TOZI Counter. Previous experience in viennoiserie is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided
  • You will be part of a small, collaborative team of four pastry chefs
  • The role involves working closely with the Head Pastry Chef to support menu development and assist in the day-to-day organisation and running of the pastry section
