Personal Assistant / Support Worker

Hours: Casual – as and when required

Shifts: 1hr 20 mins morning shifts

ROP: £13.45 per hour

Details

Personal Assistant / Support Worker required to support a young woman in her own home. The employer lives with MS, Diabetes and other health issues. You will be part of a team of Personal Assistants who support the employer with her personal care on a daily basis Monday to Friday. Hours are flexible – earliest start 8.00am / latest 12.00pm – to be discussed at interview.

Duties

  • Provide support in the mornings with personal care including assistance with showering / hair washing / assistance with footwear.
  • Assistance with making up bed and meal prep and fluids.
  • Opening tins, jars, bottles etc.

Experience / Qualifications Required

  • Experience of support work preferred as well as knowledge of MS & Diabetes.
  • Moving & Assisting training required – this can be arranged by the employer if not already in place.

This position is subject to a 6 month probationary period.

Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.
