Patent Administrator
Location: London
We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an experienced Patent Administrator to join a busy and friendly Patent Services team within a well-established Intellectual Property firm.
The Role
This is a varied role covering all aspects of patent administration and formalities, from filing through to grant, including validations. You will primarily work on GB, EP, PCT and design cases, with responsibilities including:
- Docketing incoming post and recording new cases electronically
- Creating and checking forms and responses
- Working with the UKIPO Portal, ePCT and EPO 2.0
- Uploading documents for filing with the relevant patent offices
- Managing a variety of other patent administration and formalities tasks

About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Passed the CIPA Administrators Course
- 2+ years’ experience within a busy patent formalities or records environment
- Strong knowledge of patent administration and formalities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Excellent written English
- A proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach

Experience with Inprotech would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
