The Person Specification
Candidates would have passed the CIPA Administrators Course and have 4-7 years’ experience of working in a busy patent formalities/records department. Knowledge of working with Inprotech would be an advantage, however training can be provided. This role is ideal for someone who is competent at working autonomously and also enjoys working in a varied role with an energetic and friendly team who are keen to find solutions to problems and where team members' voices are heard and ideas are encouraged.

Requirements of the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Patent Administrator to join our dynamic Patent Services team.
The role is varied and includes all aspects of patent administration and formalities, from filing through to grant (including validations); primarily involving GB, EP, PCT and design cases. Core duties will include:
- Docketing incoming post
- Recording new cases electronically
- Creating/checking forms and responses in the UKIPO Portal, ePCT, and the EPO 2.0 software
- Uploading documents for filing at the various patent offices
- Various other tasks on an ad hoc or regular basis

This is a full-time role, 35 hours, 5 days per week (9.30am to 5.30pm)
