Department: Product Development

Location: Malmesbury, Wiltshire

Description

At Corston, we design and manufacture premium architectural products that combine timeless design with exceptional functionality. From switches and sockets to hardware and lighting, every detail is carefully considered.

What started as a challenger brand has evolved into an international business operating across Europe, the UAE, and America. We are currently generating approximately £5 million in monthly revenue, have experienced significant growth over recent years, and continue to invest heavily in product innovation, manufacturing excellence, and international expansion.

Today, our teams operate from our headquarters in Malmesbury, alongside major offices in Poland and Chicago. As our product portfolio continues to grow, protecting the intellectual property behind that innovation has become increasingly important to the long-term success of the business.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Patent Attorney to help strengthen and develop Corston's in-house patent capability.

Working directly with David Gray and our Product team, you'll be responsible for identifying patent opportunities, drafting patent applications, and helping shape our wider intellectual property strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
