Patent Attorney - Telecoms and Technology

A leading IP firm is looking to appoint a Patent Attorney to join its London team, working within its established telecoms and technology practice. This is an opportunity to work on technically interesting matters for a varied client base, within a collaborative environment that offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied portfolio of patent matters across telecoms and technology
  • Advising clients on patent strategy and protection
  • Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
  • Working closely with clients to understand their technology and commercial objectives
  • Supporting the development and implementation of IP strategies
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider practice
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the firm's telecoms and technology practice

  • Part or Fully Qualified UK and/or European Patent Attorney
  • Relevant experience within the telecoms, communications or technology sector
  • Degree or technical background in Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or Physics
  • Strong interest and knowledge of mobile telecoms, communications and IT
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of work and manage priorities
  • Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
