Patent Litigation Partner
A leading firm is looking to strengthen its senior team with the appointment of a Patent Litigation Partner. The firm is seeking an established patent litigator with a strong reputation in either life sciences or technology and a demonstrable track record of handling complex, high value disputes. An equity position is available for the right individual, with the firm offering the platform and resources to support the continued growth of your practice.
The role is suited to a Partner or senior patent litigator with a portable following of clients. You will have the opportunity to take a leading role on significant patent litigation matters while continuing to develop your own practice within a specialist IP environment.

Responsibilities
- Leading complex patent litigation matters from strategy through to resolution
- Advising clients on contentious patent matters across life sciences and/or technology
- Managing high value and technically complex disputes
- Developing and maintaining senior client relationships
- Taking a leading role in the continued growth of the firm's litigation practice
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the wider team
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities
- Building on an existing client following and expanding your practice

Requirements
- Established Partner or senior level patent litigator
- Strong track record in patent litigation
- Core practice focused on patent disputes rather than general commercial litigation
- Significant experience within life sciences and/or technology
- Strong reputation and established market profile
- Portable following of clients is essential
- Demonstrable business development and practice building experience
- Strong commercial and client relationship skills
- Ability to operate at a senior level within a growing specialist IP practice
