Pathology Stores and Logistics
Pathology Stores and Logistics, based at the Leicester Royal Infirmary, is looking for 1 new driver to join our out of hours team.
The role will operate on a rotation pattern; with 2 weekday evening shifts from 16:45 - 00:15 and 1 weekend shift either 08:30 - 16:30 or 16:30 to 00:30. There may be opportunity for overtime shifts.
Clean driving license, ability to work independently, and good communication skills essential.
The role involves driving a Pathology VW caddy van between the 3 Leicester Hospitals collecting, transporting, and delivering pathology samples, Pathology reagents, blood products, post, and pharmacy items.
The post holder will need to maintain patient confidentiality at all times and be able to manage their own time when driving. Lifting and handling of laboratory materials will be required.
