About the role
Paths of Life (POL) is a network of course and curriculum providers and users. Started in 2022, it has grown to over 150 members, providing a place where BMBs and those involved in discipleship curriculum development can connect, share resources, learn from one another and collaborate.
We are seeking a Network Developer to oversee the growth of POL as it seeks to address the felt needs of believers of Muslim background (BMBs).
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, passionate about the growth and maturity of the BMB church, and able to network and connect widely to grow the reach and impact of the network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Networking with organisations and individuals to expand POL membership
- Developing regional POL representatives
- Supporting the POL Core Group and taking forward the goals of POL
- Gathering news, events and resources and ensuring regular communication with members
- Supporting the development of the POL website and database
- Helping to facilitate online and in-person gatherings
- Encouraging worldwide prayer for BMBs

We are looking for someone who:
- Is passionate about BMB discipleship
- Can communicate well across cultures
- Has a respectful and servant-hearted approach to leadership
- Has experience of leading a cross-cultural team
- Is well organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Has a bachelor’s degree or local equivalent, or comparable relevant experience

Hours: Flexible, part-time, minimum 16 hours per week
Contract: Two years, renewable, subject to approval of the Core Group and Word of Life
Location: Home-based and can be anywhere in the world, with occasional international travel.
Occupational requirement
There is an occupational requirement that the post-holder is a Christian, in line with the UK Equality Act 2010. The post-holder will be in agreement with, hold to and live out the theological position, aims and objectives outlined in the Evangelical Alliance’s Basis of Faith.
