Our mission goes beyond individual support; we actively challenge and disrupt the systems that perpetuate inequalities in our society. With a proven track record of delivering effective support services, in 2025 we helped house over 1,500 individuals and provided support to over 600 of our service users, helping them to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives in their new country.
Coventry Language and Integration Programme (CLIP)
Through our Coventry Language and Integration Programme (CLIP), we work with Coventry City Council and Coventry Adult Education to help refugees, vulnerable migrants and newly arrived individuals improve their English and workplace communication skills, access employment and integrate into life in the UK.
We are now looking for a Pathway Navigator to join us on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week on a one year fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Pathway Navigator, you will support refugee and migrant learners on the Coventry Language and Integration Programme (CLIP) to build their confidence and independence and progress towards their personal goals.
Providing Information, Advice and Guidance through one-to-one and group support, you will develop personal integration plans, review progress and help learners overcome barriers to participation, learning and integration.
Bridging the gap between classroom-based ESOL learning and everyday life, you will help learners practice their English, engage with their communities, access local services and progress towards further learning, volunteering and employment.
Additionally, you will:
- Deliver community activities and local engagement opportunities
- Support digital inclusion and access to online services and opportunities
- Facilitate employability activities, workplace visits and employer engagement
- Maintain learner records, case notes and progression documentation
- Build relationships with local organisations, community groups and service providers
- Represent ACH at networking events, community activities and stakeholder meetings
What We’re Looking For

To be considered as a Pathway Navigator, you will need:
- Experience of providing one-to-one support, mentoring, coaching or guidance
- Experience of supporting people facing barriers to education, employment or social inclusion
- Experience of working with diverse communities
- Experience of organising or facilitating group activities, workshops or community-based sessions
- Knowledge of Information, Advice and Guidance principles and frameworks
- Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and professional boundaries
- Knowledge of progression pathways into education, volunteering and employment
- Knowledge of community services and support networks
- A Level 2 English qualification or equivalent
- A Level 3 Information, Advice and Guidance qualification, or a willingness to work towards one
