Housing Manager
Location
The Crossings, Isherwood Street, Preston
Salary
£41,000 per annum
Role Overview
You will be overseeing management of The Crossings, a scheme comprising 16, high quality, spacious flats that provide temporary accommodation for homeless families. You will lead and manage a dedicated team delivering intensive housing management support, ensuring our tenants have safe, comfortable accommodation whilst supporting their move on to permanent tenancies.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience of delivering supported housing services, or a similar service, along with a strong understanding of housing management.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding principles knowledge regarding children and vulnerable adult.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with confidence in working collaboratively with external partners, and multi-agency networks.
- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure, with strong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience of leading and developing teams, empowering your team to build their skills, achieve their goals, and realise their full potential.
Additional Skills
- Experience of working with families
- Knowledge and application of Trauma-Informed Care and Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE) approaches.
- A housing-related qualification at degree level, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience of designing and delivering training.
