Endoscopy Admin Coordinator
About the Trust
University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), situated in the West End of London, is one of the largest NHS trusts in the United Kingdom and provides first class acute and specialist services both locally and to patients from throughout the UK and abroad.

About the Division
The Division of GI Services includes the medical and surgical specialities of hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB), colorectal, upper GI cancer, obesity, nutrition and vascular services. The Division is responsible for a 50 bedded ward, Endoscopy Unit and a GI Physiology Unit. We perform around 600 endoscopy procedures per week. Our administration team are vital to the smooth running of these services.
The Role
The Admin Co-ordinator role is an exciting opportunity to join our administration team in the Endoscopy Unit which provides first class administration and reception services to the Division. As part of our Patient Pathway team, you will be responsible for:

- Tracking patients through their care pathways
- Organising patient appointments
- Processing clinical correspondence in a timely manner
- Acting as a key point of support to the Clinical Nurse Endoscopists through assisting with administrative tasks
Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
- Previous administration experience
- Either experience of working in an NHS organisation or a desire to work within a healthcare organisation
- Ability to communicate with a range of patients and colleagues
- Excellent team working, negotiation and organisation skills
- Commitment to helping us deliver excellent patient care
