Location: Reading (Hybrid Working)
We are looking for an experienced Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (P-COR) Lead to join our global team and play a pivotal role in shaping patient-centred evidence strategies across our clinical development portfolio.
In this role, you will act as a scientific leader and strategic partner, ensuring the patient voice is embedded throughout the clinical development lifecycle. You will lead the development and implementation of Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) strategies, including Patient-Reported Outcomes (PROs), Clinician-Reported Outcomes (ClinROs), Performance Outcomes (PerfOs), and other patient-centred assessments that support regulatory, market access, and commercial objectives.

- Lead the development and execution of global Clinical Outcome Assessment (COA) strategies across multiple therapeutic areas, ensuring patient-centred evidence is embedded throughout the clinical development lifecycle.
- Partner with Clinical, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Commercial, Digital Health, Market Access and Product Teams to select, implement and optimise COA approaches within clinical programmes.
- Lead end-to-end COA projects, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver high-quality, scientifically robust outcomes.
- Provide expertise on regulatory requirements, including content, psychometric validation, translation and cultural adaptation, and electronic COA (eCOA) implementation to support regulatory and commercial objectives.
- Drive the interpretation, and communication of COA data, contributing to regulatory submissions, scientific publications and evidence-generation activities.
- Stay informed on emerging methodologies, industry standards and innovations within patient-centred outcomes research and clinical outcome assessments.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
