Join Our Friendly Front-of-House Team
We are looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist or Dental Nurse with reception experience to join the friendly team at Longridge Dental Centre, Preston.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent communication skills and takes pride in providing a welcoming, professional experience for every patient.
The role is initially Friday and Saturday, with exact hours to be discussed at interview. As the practice continues to grow, there may be the opportunity to increase your days and hours in the near future.
The Role
You will be an important part of the practice team, welcoming patients and helping ensure their journey is smooth and positive from their first enquiry through to treatment.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
- Managing appointments, diaries, patient records and payments
- Answering telephone and online enquiries
- Converting enquiries into appointments where appropriate
- Discussing treatment options, finance and membership plans confidently
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Liaising with clinicians and the wider practice team
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the reception area
- Promoting practice services and membership plans
- Supporting social media, marketing and patient engagement initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous dental reception experience, or is a Dental Nurse with strong reception experience
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is confident, friendly and professional with patients
- Is organised and able to work effectively in a busy environment
- Has good IT skills and is comfortable using dental software
- Has a proactive approach and enjoys working as part of a team
- Sales or treatment-coordination experience would be advantageous
