Patient Recruiter

We are seeking a Patient Recruiter to support the successful delivery of clinical research studies by identifying, engaging, screening, and enrolling suitable participants. This role is pivotal in ensuring recruitment targets are met while providing a positive and professional experience for all potential study participants.

This position is based in the Warwickshire area, and is a hybrid position (2 days from home, 3 days onsite). It is a 6-month contract, 40 hours per week with a high likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential participants for clinical research studies.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews and eligibility assessments in line with study protocols.
  • Explain study requirements and answer participant questions throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate participant appointments, follow-ups, and study visits.
  • Support study enrolment and retention activities to achieve recruitment targets.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, databases, and participant documentation.
  • Collaborate with clinical and research teams to ensure a smooth participant journey.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in patient recruitment, healthcare, clinical research, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with patients and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and databases.
  • Experience working within a clinical research environment is desirable.
