Patient Safety Support Secretary

The Patient Safety Support Secretary role provides high-quality secretarial and administrative support to the Trust’s Patient Safety Team. The post holder plays a key role in enabling patient safety improvement work by supporting the team with day-to-day organisation, meetings, and administration.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be able to attend interview in person
  • Successful applicant must have the ability to attend site for Trust/Department Induction and to collect equipment.
  • Very occasional site visits may be required for training or events and the candidate must have the ability to attend these as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to the Patient Safety Team.
  • Arrange and support trust wide meetings, including managing diaries, booking rooms, preparing papers, and following up actions.
  • Take notes and produce clear, accurate minutes for meetings, sharing actions with relevant staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for the team, dealing with enquiries in a helpful and professional manner.
