Senior Sales Consultant / Sales Team Lead – Private Dental

Hammersmith, West London | £38,000–£45,000 basic + uncapped commission, £65,000+ OTE realistic | Progression to Head of Patient Sales

Sell from the front, then build the team behind you.

Dental by Design is a growing group of premium private dental clinics. We spend heavily on marketing and generate a high volume of quality inbound patient enquiries every month — people actively researching implants, full-arch and cosmetic treatment, with cases typically running from £5,000 to £25,000.

We're looking for the person who converts them best, and who then shows everyone else how it's done.

This is a genuine two-part role. For the first phase you'll be the top performer — carrying your own conversion target and setting the benchmark. As the team grows around you, you'll recruit, coach and run it, with a clear path to Head of Patient Sales across multiple sites. We're not looking for a manager who used to sell. We're looking for an outstanding seller who wants to lead.

The selling itself is warm, inbound and consultative. No cold calling, no scripts, no call centre. Patients arrive already interested; your job is to build trust quickly, handle the real anxiety and cost objections that come with treatment at this level, and convert the enquiry into a consultation and then into treatment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll do

  • Own the inbound enquiry pipeline and convert it into consultations and treatment
  • Hit and beat your personal conversion target — this is a carrying role, not an oversight role
  • Build rapport fast with people making a significant, emotional and expensive decision
  • Set the standard the rest of the team works to
  • Coach, develop and eventually lead the sales team as it grows
  • Help shape how patient sales works across the group as we open further sites

Who we're looking for

Someone who sells for a living and is good at it. You'll be able to tell us your conversion rate and the value of business you personally closed last year, because you already know those numbers.

Most likely you're doing this now in private dental, aesthetics, cosmetic surgery, laser eye, hair restoration, fertility or another premium consumer sale where the price is high and the decision is personal. If you're an outstanding closer from another high-value consumer sector, we're very interested.

On the leadership side, we care more about appetite than title. If you've mentored new starters, run a huddle, been the person others listened to on the floor, or simply want your first proper leadership role and have the sales record to earn it — tell us. We'll back you and train you.

What we offer

  • £38,000–£45,000 basic depending on experience, uncapped commission, £65,000+ realistic on target
  • A defined route to Head of Patient Sales as the group expands
  • Marketing spend that keeps the pipeline full — you're never hunting for leads
  • Full training on the clinical side; we don't expect you to arrive knowing dentistry
  • Full-time, permanent, on site in Hammersmith. Monday to Saturday with alternate Saturdays and a day off in lieu — Saturdays reduce as the team grows

To apply

Send your CV with a short note telling us your conversion rate, the value of business you closed last year, and how you did it. That's what we'll be reading.
