About The Role
The Patient Service Advisor based in Worsley will serve as the primary contact for patients, carers, clinicians, and healthcare professionals within a busy Homecare team. We are recruiting for a Patient Service Advisor to join a busy and supportive Homecare team based in Worsley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As a Patient Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for patients, carers, clinicians and healthcare professionals. You will handle customer enquiries, process orders, resolve issues and provide support relating to specialist healthcare equipment.
Working in a busy contact centre environment, you will deliver a professional, empathetic and efficient service while maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer enquiries from patients, carers and healthcare professionals.
- Processing telephone and digital orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handling equipment-related queries and emergency support calls.
- Liaising with NHS personnel including GPs, Respiratory Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Providing clear and professional communication at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records across multiple systems.
- Working to service level agreements and performance targets.
- Delivering a high standard of customer care whilst handling sensitive situations.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a customer service, contact centre or administration role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Empathetic, professional and customer-focused approach.
- Experience using SAP, Salesforce or similar systems would be advantageous.
