We Make Health Happen

At New Victoria Hospital, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and creating a welcoming experience for every individual who walks through our doors. As part of Bupa, you'll be joining a team that is passionate about making health happen by putting patients at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Patient Service Advisor to join our Imaging Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment, providing outstanding administrative support while helping patients navigate their healthcare journey with confidence and ease.

How You'll Help Us Make Health Happen

As a Patient Service Advisor within Imaging, you will be the first point of contact for patients, consultants, and referrers. You'll play a vital role in ensuring appointments are booked accurately, patients receive the correct preparation information, and enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently.

Working closely with the wider Imaging team, you will help deliver a seamless patient experience across a range of diagnostic services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, Fluoroscopy and X-Ray.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional, welcoming and efficient reception service for patients attending the Imaging Department.
  • Accurately book appointments and examinations, ensuring patients are scheduled with the appropriate clinician and receive relevant preparation information.
  • Manage a high volume of telephone and email enquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Register patients on arrival and liaise with clinical teams to facilitate their appointment.
  • Provide quotations, process payments and respond to patient, consultant and referrer queries.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of Imaging procedures and associated preparation requirements.
  • Support the effective administration of Imaging services using booking and patient management systems.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the hospital to ensure the highest standards of service delivery.
  • Promote New Victoria Hospital's services and always uphold exceptional customer service standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
