About the Role

We are looking for someone to provide a welcoming, professional, and courteous service, based predominately in Patient Services.

Responsibilities

Post holders will be required to support in various administrative areas including Health Records, Ward Clerks, Subject Access Request, and other key administrative areas throughout Patient Services.

  • Liaise effectively with colleagues and other departments within the hospital in a professional and pleasant manner
  • Ensure the confidentiality of information and patient details is adhered to at all times, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, Caldicott guidelines, and other Trust Policies and Procedures

Key Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for supporting in the delivery of the day-to-day management and operations of several neighboring Patient Services Departmental areas, including Health Records, Ward Clerks, and Subject Access Request.

  • Work with the relevant Service Managers to ensure compliance with local/national policies and procedures and relevant legislation
  • Provide assurance that compliance and standards are maintained, and service is delivered effectively within specified/agreed timescales
