Role Overview
The post holder will be a member of the Patient Services Management Team and provide support to the Patient Services Training Co-ordinator as well as support in delivering waiting list management and clinical administration process and policy training across the Trust.
Responsibilities

Development and Delivery of Training:
- Develop and deliver all aspects of patient services/administration training for all disciplines of staff involved in waiting list management and clinical administration process and policies.
- Ensure a comprehensive and consistent level of training and working practice to enable the Trust to deliver safe, effective, and efficient operational services.
- Support the delivery of a training plan for medical and nursing staff in relation to referral to waiting list management and clinical administration process and policies.

Daily Support:
- Provide daily support to the Patient Services Training Co-ordinator, including planning of both regular and ad hoc training sessions for new starters and refresher training for existing staff.
- Set work packages and timescales for checking and signing off completed work.

Responsive Training:
- Develop responsive training packages to support the rapid implementation of Trust information projects (e.g., Digital Patient Communications, Patient Knows Best, Patient Initiated Follow Up’s, etc.).
- Analyze data reports generated from Power BI reporting and interrogate this data to identify trends and errors where training support to users may be required.

Standard Operating Procedures:
- Create and implement documented standard operating procedures to support users in relation to waiting list management and clinical administration process and policies.

Training Delivery:
- Produce, update, and confidently deliver waiting list management and clinical administration process and policy sessions throughout the Trust.
- Training sessions will be to a variety of levels of staff.
