About the Company
Our client, a prominent arts and entertainment organisation, is seeking an experienced Patrons Officer to join its Philanthropy team on an eight-month fixed-term contract.
About the Role
The role will support the effective operation and growth of the organisation’s patron membership scheme, which generates voluntary income for community engagement, artistic development and improvements to a nationally significant venue. The successful candidate will share responsibility for the day-to-day management of the scheme, act as the principal contact for designated patron groups and work towards ambitious recruitment and upgrade targets. The role will also support the stewardship of senior patrons and the planning and delivery of patron events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration and delivery of the patron membership scheme.
- Act as the first point of contact for designated patron groups.
- Deliver a priority booking service where applicable.
- Recruit new patrons and encourage existing members to upgrade their level of support.
- Work towards agreed income, recruitment and retention targets.
- Support colleagues with the stewardship and relationship management of senior patrons.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of patron events.
- Provide support for an international patron scheme where required.
- Ensure patron enquiries, records and services are managed efficiently and professionally.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Philanthropy team to maintain a high standard of supporter experience.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in fundraising, hospitality, membership or a closely related field.
- Experience of managing supporter, member or customer relationships.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- The ability to provide a professional and responsive service to patrons.
- Confidence working towards ambitious recruitment, upgrade or income targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with colleagues and support shared team objectives.
- Enthusiasm for developing a career within fundraising, hospitality or membership services.

Pay range and compensation package
Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per annum
