Are you a Payments Consultant with experience delivering transformation across financial services?

  • Do you enjoy helping banks, payment providers, and other financial institutions navigate complex challenges, shape operating models, and deliver programmes that create lasting business value?

Joining our UK Payments Practice means becoming part of a collaborative team of consultants who combine strategic thinking with pragmatic delivery. You'll work on high-profile engagements, collaborate with recognised payments specialists, and have the opportunity to make a genuine impact while continuing to develop your career with Projective Group.

Bring Your Expertise to Life at Projective Group; imagine a day where you:

  • Lead workstreams across payments transformation and strategic change programmes for banks, payment providers, and financial institutions.
  • Advise clients on the evolving UK payments landscape, helping them navigate regulatory, infrastructure, and market developments while delivering pragmatic solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Facilitate client workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder discussions, translating client requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.
  • Shape target operating models, support payments-related vendor selection and re-platforming initiatives, and help clients make informed strategic decisions.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, providing insight and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Contribute to proposals, client presentations, and business development activities, helping to identify and secure new consulting opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our Payments Practice, sharing knowledge, supporting capability development, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

Is this you?

  • A track record of delivering payments transformation and change programmes within financial services, ideally gained within a specialist financial services consulting firm.
  • Strong understanding of the UK payments ecosystem, including payment products, infrastructure, and regulatory developments such as PSR/PSD3, the National Payments Vision, DeliveryCo, and the Retail Payments Infrastructure Board (RPIB), together with an awareness of the wider regulatory landscape shaping the future of payments.
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of business and technology, simplifying complex challenges and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead workstreams, manage priorities, and deliver successful outcomes across complex programmes.
  • Commercially minded, with experience supporting proposals, client presentations, or business development activities.
  • Experience in Business Analysis, Change Delivery, Product Ownership, or similar consulting disciplines would be advantageous.
  • Degree educated or equivalent industry experience.
