Job Description

The Role:

You will manage payments and fraud screening in the Card Not Present environment. This will include payment disputes, chargebacks along with investigating and identifying fraud. You will find patterns and inaccuracies in a multi £M of “Card Not Present” transactions, playing a key role in an integral part of our business.

This is an entry-level role into payments and fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate potential card fraud cases, this will entail checking daily reviews of documentation and collating evidence from internal and external sources.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Look for patterns/trends in payment activity and communicating out to the wider team.
  • Work as a team to implement best practice for the Group.
  • Process our Card Payment and PayPal chargebacks.
  • Ensure meticulous attention to detail when investigating cases.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a contact centre environment role with some exposure to fraud cases/situations/ways of working is desirable.
  • Focused and fearless in approach to work.
  • Able to spot trends and communicate effectively to the wider team.
  • Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team particularly in high pressured situations.
  • Ability to manage a heavy workload and at times conflicting priorities as well as tracking progress on a wide range of tasks.
  • A positive ‘can do’ attitude and excellent work ethic.
  • Computer literate - Outlook, Excel, MS Teams.

This is a rota-based shift pattern role covering between 6am-9pm, Monday - Friday.
