The Opportunity

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Payments Co-worker to join our customer services team at our Bristol Head Office. This is a full-time role offered on 3-month temporary assignment basis.

The overall purpose of this role is to carry out the daily operations of Triodos Bank Payments and Cards Team, provide exceptional customer focused service to both external and internal customers with a focus and commitment to meeting regulated timescales as well as team quality and performance levels.

You will be working in a team environment to support the completion of the teams’ daily workflows, ensuring all processes and quality standard are met.

This role offers the benefits of a hybrid working. This would require a min of 2 days in our Bristol office per week, with an option of working from home on the other days, as agreed in based on Business needs. The first 4 - 6 weeks will be office based for training and induction.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be required to:

  • Provide consistently high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to team processes and ensure all are up to date.
  • Work to achieve set SLAs and KPIs.
  • Follow and complete a daily workplan to time scales. Escalate issues that prevent achievement of daily workflow plans and controls.
  • Call customers to follow up on more in-depth queries or where additional information is required.
  • Proactively suggest continuous improvements in line with current process improvement methodologies.
  • Complete work in line with banking practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Take responsibility for complaints received, ensuring they are recorded and responded to within FCA guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers as needed, ensuring all processes are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Comply with all regulatory obligations and internal governance, supporting ethical behaviour and good customer outcomes.

What We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Finance, Banking or a similar regulated financial services environment. You should be comfortable handling a variety of tasks with different complexities, timescales, and requirements, and have a proven ability to manage your daily workflow effectively. Knowledge or experience of card and payment schemes in the UK is desirable.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards. If you are detail-oriented, committed to excellent service, and thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment, we would love to hear from you.

You will receive an hourly pay rate of £13.45 – 14.01 depending on experience in recognition of your skills and contributions.
