Our Cards & Payments segment combines deep industry expertise with strategy, advisory and delivery capabilities to support clients across the payments ecosystem. From commercial and business strategy through to large-scale transformation programmes, we help organisations respond to industry change and position themselves for future success.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Consultant to join our Cards & Payments team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in payments, who wants to accelerate their career within a collaborative and entrepreneurial consulting environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Consultant, you'll work alongside experienced industry professionals to help clients solve complex business challenges and deliver transformational change.

You will:

  • Support strategic, operational and transformation engagements across the payments industry
  • Help clients navigate market change, regulatory developments and emerging industry trends
  • Contribute to the development of commercial, business and product strategies
  • Analyse complex data, market dynamics and customer needs to generate insights and recommendations
  • Support the design and delivery of transformation initiatives across people, process and technology
  • Create high-quality client deliverables, presentations and business cases
  • Participate in workshops, stakeholder meetings and problem-solving sessions
  • Build your knowledge across the payments ecosystem, including cards, account-to-account payments, digital payments and emerging payment technologies

What we're looking for

We're interested in speaking with curious, ambitious individuals who are passionate about the future of payments and financial services.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within consulting, financial services, fintech or a payments organisation
  • Knowledge of one or more payments domains, such as cards, acquiring, issuing, merchant payments, open banking, instant payments or alternative payment methods
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work with data and translate insights into practical recommendations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership and responsibility
  • A genuine interest in industry trends, innovation and transformation
