Permanent Opportunity

Build and Deliver the Technology Behind a Global Payments Platform.

Are you a technically driven payments professional who enjoys working on complex transaction processing environments, solving challenging problems, and delivering mission-critical payment solutions?

We are seeking an experienced Payments Processing Delivery Engineer to join a highly skilled technology team responsible for the delivery, implementation, and support of advanced payment processing solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the complete delivery lifecycle — from requirements analysis and solution definition through development support, testing, implementation, and operational handover.

You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams, payment networks, and third-party vendors to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant payment solutions are delivered successfully.

The Role

As a Payments Processing Delivery Engineer, You Will:

  • Support the delivery of complex payment processing projects from initiation through to production implementation.
  • Analyse customer and business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical input into project estimates, delivery plans, and implementation activities.
  • Work with internal teams, customers, vendors, and payment partners to define and deliver solutions.
  • Support testing activities, defect resolution, and production readiness.
  • Ensure solutions meet technical, security, compliance, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Payments Solution Delivery

  • Analyse and design technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Produce technical documentation including designs, implementation guides, operational procedures, and release documentation.
  • Conduct impact assessments for payment scheme changes and industry mandates.
  • Support software releases, upgrades, enhancements, and customer implementations.
  • Take technical ownership of assigned delivery activities from requirements through to completion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
