As the Product Delivery Execution Lead within J.P. Morgan Core Payment Rails

You will be responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of critical transformation initiatives with a particular focus on ISO 20022 and the future of payments. You will develop and execute plans for global adoption and migration to ISO 20022, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution, transparent reporting, and proactive risk management. Your role will require strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, driving outcomes that enhance client experience and operational excellence. You will be a key driver of change, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

With the rapid pace of change within Core Payment Rails, this role covers foundational change shaping the future of payments—unlocking richer data, better automation, and improved client outcomes across domestic and cross-border clearing. You will operate at the center of that change, with broad organizational visibility across multiple product lines and execution workstreams, and frequent engagement with senior leaders. You will influence firmwide priorities, help design repeatable delivery frameworks, and solve at “global scale”—balancing regulatory deadlines, market migrations, and platform modernization. Job Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery and execution of ISO 20022 adoption/migration initiatives across multiple lines of business and regions
  • Develop and implement plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate and direct cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Operations) to deliver on project milestones and outcomes
  • Accountable for Global and Market Infrastructure specific requirements and compliance with local regulations ensuring local Product teams collaboration and sign off alongside requirement prioritization and budget justification
  • Track, report, and communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability
  • Identify, manage, and escalate risks and issues, driving resolution and mitigation strategies
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, challenging the status quo and seeking opportunities to optimize processes and outcomes in the broader payment rails space
  • Engage with clients and business partners to understand needs, gather feedback, and ensure solutions are client-centric
  • Support and provide guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring clarity of purpose and effective execution

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Proven experience in complex change/transformation delivery within a large financial institution or similar environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional initiatives, managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to influence and drive outcomes across diverse teams
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Client and business-centric mindset, with the ability to balance strategic objectives and operational realities
  • Experience in risk management, issue escalation, and project tracking/reporting
